Mr. John Corneby has joined PCS VacDry USA, LLC™ as its Eastern Area Sales Engineer. Mr. Corneby has a long-term background in forest product manufacturing, facility installations and plant engineering.

John has worked in the forest products industry most of his adult life. Upon graduating from LeTourneau University with a BSME in design engineering, he joined Whitesville Wood Products (WWP) in Whitesville, NY as a partner in the family business. WWP produced hardwood furniture squares for the furniture, textile, and stair industries. John worked in primary and secondary processing and was directly involved in Whitesville's vacuum drying projects which utilized WoodMiser™, Vacutherm™, and Cigomak™ vacuum kilns. While with WWP, John was instrumental in starting Clockworks (an advertising company), Cryder Creek Wood Shoppe (a mail order company), and Flowpower Systems (a motorcycle parts distributor).

After a fire destroyed the main manufacturing facility of WWP, a new plant was built, and John and his brother Norris went into the hardwood veneer business, slicing veneer from lumber. Later a high speed rotary veneer lathe was added. With the untimely passing of his brother and nearly 30 years in the family business, John left the wood industry and became the Plant Manager at Strong Industries™ which manufactures high end swimming pools and hot tubs. After an interesting, learning, and challenging stay at Strong, John decided to return to his major field of interest, the wood products industry, with PCS VacDry USA, LLC™.

Joining PCS VacDry USA, LLC™ from New Zealand, Mr. Brent Nielson has been named Installation Technician. Mr. Nielson has a background in Engineering and Design. In his new capacity, Mr. Nielson will do site planning for potential customer installations and will facilitate the final installations when the VacDry Kiln equipment is delivered.

Brent has experience in a wide range of engineering, including materials handling, structural engineering, heavy automotive engineering, and agricultural engineering to name but a few. He is looking forward to his new direction for the installation of the PCS VacDry USA, LLC™ Kiln units and other products.
