PCS VacDry USA, LLC announces the installation of a technology-leading vacuum kiln for research and development in New Zealand. The kiln will be monitored and operated remotely by researchers at Process Control Specialties, Inc. in the United States with the assistance of a PCS VacDry technician on-site.

The kiln will be used to advance drying schedules that are being used in production of flooring in New Zealand as well as for the development of drying schedules for difficult-to-dry species in both New Zealand and Australia. The PCS VacDry Model 1.25 - 3.0/m3 kiln is being installed in a shipping container so that it will eventually be transported to mills for on-site demonstration of drying capabilities.
